Time: 9 am ~ 3 pm (Full Day)
Location - Prince Gallery Art School, Shop 3, 260 Victoria Rd, Gladesville, NSW 2111

Schedule
8:55 AM - 9:00 AM: Drop-off
Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth start to the day.
9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Welcome and Orientation
Greeting, self-introductions, and a tour of the facilities.
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM: Robots’ Playground
• Introduce 4 ~ 5 different types of robots including robot dog and wheel-based robots to the students.
• Encourage students to interact with the robots and have hands-on experience with the robots.
• Demonstrate how software programming changes the behaviour of the robots.
10:30 AM - 10:40 AM: Recess
A short break with provided snacks and drinks (allergy-friendly: no nuts, no eggs, no gluten).
10:40 AM - 11:40 AM: Makers’ Playground. Hands-on experience to assemble mini robots.
• Introduce mini robots to students.
• Students learn how to assemble the mini robot kit.
• Students learn how to program the mini robots.
11:40 AM - 12:40 PM: Lunch break & watch the Toy Story movie
Please bring your own lunch box. A time to relax and socialise.
12:40 PM - 1:40 PM: Toy Story. Program the robots to perform a “Toy Story”.
• Each mini robot becomes an actor/actress in the movie “Toy Story”.
• Students program his/her mini robot according to its role in “Toy Story”.
• Tutors provide guidance and assistance to the students.
1:40 PM - 1:50 PM: A quick break to stretch and refresh before the final session.
1:50 PM - 2:50 PM: Show Time
• All robot actors/actresses “perform” on stage according to “Toy Story”.
• A judge panel needs to select the best “actor/actress”.
• Awards given to the best “actor/actress”.
2:50 PM - 3:00 PM: Clean Up and Pick-up
Materials Needed
Please each student bring your own iPad/Android pad/laotop.
