Mukto Mashkura
🎨 Meet Mukto
Mukto is a community pharmacist, mother of two, and a passionate artist who finds joy in creating alongside her children. She is especially drawn to watercolor for its spontaneous, unpredictable beauty—particularly through the wet-on-wet technique—and also finds inspiration in the expressive depth of charcoal.
Teaching art to children brings her immense joy. As both an artist and a parent, Mukto brings patience, warmth, and an appreciation for each child’s unique creativity. She treasures the magic in the way young artists bring their imaginations to life.
Mukto actively participates in the local art scene, exhibiting with both the Lane Cove and Drummoyne Art Societies. Her work spans landscapes, seascapes, and abstract forms. In October 2024, one of her paintings was awarded “Highly Commended” at the Drummoyne Art Society exhibition.
A strong believer in the therapeutic power of art, Mukto encourages both children and adults to discover the joy of turning a blank canvas into something truly personal and vibrant.
Below are some of her artworks—each one a reflection of passion, peace, and creativity.
