🖌️ Term 2 Weekly Curriculum Overview:
Lesson 1|Colourful Underwater World
Materials: Oil Pastels + Gouache (for background)
Themes: Fish, coral, seaweed, bubbles, and marine life
Objectives:
1. Understand the basic layout of an underwater scene
2. Learn to use oil pastels for detailed drawing and gouache for background atmosphere
3. Practice foreground and background layering
4. Spark imagination through observing nature
Lesson 2|Colourful Valley Scenery
Materials: Watercolour Pencils
Themes: Mountains, trees, sunlight, rivers
Objectives:
1. Learn to compose a mountain landscape with sky elements
2. Explore warm and cool colour contrast
3. Encourage expression of personal feelings through nature-themed colours
Lesson 3|Little Fox Portrait Painting
Materials: Oil Pastels
Objectives:
1. Study animal facial structure and proportions
2. Practice using orange, brown, and white
3. Strengthen foundational animal drawing and observation skills
Lesson 4|Kitten Playing with Water
Materials: Watercolour Pencils
Objectives:
1. Capture the movement and playfulness of animals
2. Learn to draw water ripples and wave lines
3. Stimulate storytelling and imagination from everyday life
Lesson 5|Seaside Scenery
Materials: Watercolour Pencils
Objectives:
1. Mix and layer shades of blue to express ocean depth
2. Depict flowing water and wave movement
3. Develop a sense of rhythm and natural change in landscapes
Lesson 6|Flowers on Black Round Cardboard
Materials: Oil Pastels + Black Round Cardboard
Objectives:
1. Highlight vibrant colours against a dark background
2. Practice colour contrast and composition
3. Train spatial awareness on non-traditional surfaces
Lesson 7|Ducklings at the Pond
Materials: Watercolour Pencils
Objectives:
1. Understand foreground and background relationships
2. Express detailed plants and small animals
3. Encourage patience and close observation
Lesson 8|Pretty Hydrangeas
Materials: Gouache
Objectives:
1. Practice layering and blending techniques
2. Express the soft, clustered texture of hydrangeas
3. Build brush control and colour sensitivity
Lesson 9|Giraffe Portraits
Materials: Watercolour Pencils
Objectives:
1. Master proportions of long-necked animals
2. Explore character expressions and creativity
3. Strengthen basic modelling and imaginative skills
(PS: Sample drawings and guides may be adapted to suit the students’ mood and creative energy on the day.)
Class Information:
- Number of Classes: There are 9 classes for each Term. The class will skip on public holidays.

Tutors: Allison for Sat session, Marianne for Sun session and Mukto for Tue session;
- Enrollment Recommendation: It's recommended that you enroll for a full Term. If you want to enroll in fewer than 9 classes or have other requirements, please Contact Us, or just book a single class to give it a try.
- Art Tools and Materials: Remember to bring your art tools and materials or buy them from the school.
- Please refer to Class Schedule to know the class date and time slot.
- Makeup Classes: We encourage students to make up missed classes during other available times in the same term or during the school holiday program. Please note, adult students are not eligible for makeup classes during school holidays. Missed classes cannot be carried over to the next term.

We understand plans can change. Cancellations made at least 3 days in advance are eligible for a refund (minus a 4% processing fee) or a full-value Gift Card.
Parking Information:
Free parking is available in front of the school on Victoria Road during weekends, as well as on nearby side streets.
On weekdays (Mon–Fri), 2-hour free parking is available between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
