Art Class for Adults

This course is designed for beginning and intermediate art levels and are led by professional artist coaches. We keep small class sizes and a friendly environment and plenty of attention is given to each student. The coaches are degree/diploma qualified and active artists.

Our adult art class adopts open-minded teaching. Learn to use a variety of drawing and painting materials and themes. we believe that each art material and subject matter has mutual help and progress and relationship.For example, a landscape painter can also draw characters well, which is beneficial to the characters in his landscape paintings. or modern abstract painter also needs to have the basic skills of colour language level expression. If the figure painter has the skills of landscape painting, he can draw the landscape in the background of the figure painting in his creative works. We believe that students’ mastery of a variety of art materials and techniques is the foundation and indispensable for the road of modern art .It enables adult students to understand their own potential and discover and explore the inner world. Learning the excellent works of the old masters and establishing a good foundation and skills in painting can allow students to ‘fly freely in the sky of art world”. That’s why our adult art classes teach a diverse range of content each term. including classical drawing and painting, modern art, sketching. colour and everything from landscapes to figures .

4 terms in a year/ classes include: Sketch/Charcoal/Colour pencil/Soft pastels/Oil pastel/ Water colour/Acrylic painting/ Oil painting / Pouring painting/ Abstract painting/ Comics and illustrations/theme creation/oriental art/ Chinese ink drawing .
